<aside> 💡 Our laboratory aims to develop effective peptide-based biopharmaceuticals by utilizing simulation and predictive models (in silico), elucidating cellular activity and mechanisms (in vitro), and evaluating disease models (in vivo).

Our research focuses on identifying target proteins in epithelial and immune cells to discover potential drug candidates (Target protein discovery).

We synthesize and screen peptide therapeutics and peptide-based biomaterials to utilize these identified target proteins (Peptide-based biomaterials screening).

To enhance the stability and drug delivery efficacy of these peptide-based substances, we design and validate nanoformulations (Bioengineered nanoformulation).

Furthermore, we develop pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling that facilitate efficient translational method of these nanoformulated therapeutics from preclinical to clinical stages (Pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics modeling).

With the digital AI era, we apply the latest research methodologies to drug candidate discovery and preclinical experiments, thereby bridging practical and diverse research techniques with the pharmaceutical industry.
